Did you get caught out in heavy rain ?
Lift the tank , and look for the “BLUE SOCKET” thats along the steering VIN number or the opposite side, it might be water logged
Can you open the dash unit safely to see if its water logged inside (usually they can resist water) unless the seals around the glass gauge allowed water to invade the unit , the “blinking icons like neutral, signals, high beam, etc” will have their own independent lines in the same harness
The dash unit “Speedo REVS and MPH + FUEL GAUGE” use a red wire , maybe it broke off when it was kinked up, have a look at that too ? That’s its “main power” feed line to turn it on, it is on the same red wire going all the way to the aformention 9pin blue socket plug under the tank.
Let us know!

Sorry the clocks are bone dry.the red wire is on it’s own in the wiring harness with a bullet connector .it’s running from the coil is this right.

Have you actually opened the fuel gauge display in the middle so u can see the wires that end up inside the digital circuit boards
The red wire or grey wire might be split in 3 so that it shares power to the rev counter and the mph gauge also.
I hope you don’t need new clocks!

I don’t believe a gauge can just die , it is rare on a GV , you would need to re-check the harness that is sending all the signals from the blue connector plug and the red wires.
Even the “Right KillSwitch” , actually should at “least” turn on the green lights for the RPM & MPH dials ?
I wish i could see a video of the bike running , and you turning the lights on and off just to see what happens to it and revving it. Black/Yellow wire actually tells the RPM counter what to do.
Speed Sensor = Goes straight to the dash on the MPH side.
