Battery replaced and now non starting – GT650R

Hi guys,

I just bought a brand new battery for my decidedly not brand new gt650r as it was showing signs of giving out. I was able to install it without much trouble however now when I turn the key there is no sign of power at all. No lights, fuel pump, lcd screen, indicators or anything at all. I know the harness is good as it ran a few weeks ago with a push start, even the old flat battery could prime the fuel pump. I am completely stumped as to what i did wrong or how to go about fixing it, so any insight would be super helpful.

 

(Yes I’m sure the terminals are the right way around)

Check the main fuse just a quick arc will blow it

As per Simon.

And also check under the radiator for the ignition plug , incase of corroded terminals going up to the ignition key.
