Oh, what a drama I had for a couple of days with a mixture pilot screw.
Both screws were fully seized. We drilled one and tried to remove with extracor, and it was no chance. I already could see the light at the bottom of my wallet.
The problem we had is the brass was too soft, and the extractor couldn’t grab it properly.
So every time we had to expand the hole to try a bigger and bigger bolt extractor.Eventually, all extractor sizes fail, so we hammered an allen key and twisted it back and forth with WD40 and got half of it out (this is just because we drilled it so far.)
Half of Air Mixture Pilot Screw
So my colleague was playing with the thick needle for an hour while soaking it in wd40, then put it upside down and knocked it on the table. Eventually, he got the other part.
For the other, we left it with WD40 for a night, and the next day just drilled it, hammered the allen key and got out easily.
It looks like there was no washer, just a spring and an O-ring.
Well, happy days for now:)</span>

It says on G Drive “You need access” , maybe set it to public share link ?
Don’t get me started on mixtures either, it’s something i constantly have to deal with in my own workshop sorting customer carbs. Takes more of my labour time than doing valve clearances!
Have you tipped the swear jar so your wallet fills back up again ? π
