2008 GV650 EFI Compatibility Question

The tuner shop doesn’t know, perhaps someone here might.
Is the piggyback Power Commander for a 2009-10 compatible with my 2008 Anniversary Edition GV650 EFI?
My bike is not compatible with Delphi or Standalone or any other aftermarket ECU. I’m dammned sure not going to risk a flash tune. Also, I’m not going to spend over a thousand pounds for parts and dyno if they aren’t for 100% certain compatible.
Anyone know the difference between the 2008 and the 2009-10 Aquila GV650 ECU and if the Power Commander piggyback system is compatible?

Ask that company if they have something for your ECU the Jap one, send proof of it. If they ain’t sure, then its likely due to the bike being some anniversary edition.
2009-2010’s use the Daewoo ECU’s (problematic ecu’s!) =
Ask them if they do DELPHI which is current or yours
DELPHi = a lot of changes to your motor!

I’ve emailed a dozen shops and nobody seems to be able to help.

Will the exhaust heat shields (consisting of 5 pieces) from a 2016 GV650 Aquilla Pro fit my 2008 GV650 EFI Anniversary Edition?
From the photos they look identical but I’m unable to find anything online to verify whether they are a direct bolt-on or not -

As for exhaust pieces, there is some variations yes but do you have 2 pictures for us to see what you’re looking at and what you have currently ?

I’ll get the photos off of my phone for later. I ordered them and at first was a little concerned as the packager was significantly smaller than expected.
Thankfully, they do fit, they do line up well enough. The only real difference is the heat shield for the front cylinder, the one that runs under the rider’s right foot, is a bit shorter. This isn’t an issue, it just doesn’t wrap around as far up underneath the bike as the old one.
I’ll get some photos up here soon. -

Unrelated My front left-foot peg broke and I need a replacement. I see a tonne of “Universal†footpegs on eBay. Could you point me in the right direction? I don’t care about keeping it OEM, so long as it is decent quality at a decent price
im not sure 100% but look at “Vulcan 800” foot pegs, they may “just about” fit but again this is the closest bike i can think of
or try Vulcan 800 footboards  (footboards are way more comfy than pegs i wont lie lol)

This is beyond annoying. Why the hell won’t anybody list the physical dimensions of the product?
I am still riding with just the stump of a broken footpeg because either the listing doesn’t include the pin and spring set, doesn’t include the physical dimensions, or both.
I can manage with a missing left footpeg around the city and without a passenger but only for short hops around town, and without a passenger. I’ just frustrated with the lack of brick and mortar, physical parts stores. -
