You are very brave! – I would definitely keep it slow until you really learn its power and how to use it properly at the right situations.
Also tyres matter a lot (a lot), so be sure to use Michelin Pilot Road tyres (very recommmend) and do whatever the service manual says to do (every bit) , and you may still be with her for a very long time. They last as much as the owner takes care of it (sometimes better than a stupid garage/dealer does)
