Hello i have a gv650 carby that started springing a small fuel leak today after roughly an hour of riding and right after i filled the tank with fuel. Upon inspecting there are 2 small hoses coming down right in front of the rear tire roughly 1/4 in in diameter each that look like vacuum lines or over flow lines. When bike is off i get a small drip leak for 5-6 seconds of fuel then it stops. When i turn the bike on the smaller hose has a constant slow drip leak. Everything looks connected but i did notice the fuel cap where i put gas in also has a small bit of fuel on it almost as though it’s over filled. Any help is appreciated.
It could be just fuel expansion as the pipes underneath are over flow’s, the heat from the engine when stationary can cause it, if it keeps happening then it be the float valve not sealing correctly
