Bike has been in the shed a while and after finishing a few projects it’s time for this one to start…
So bike is showing a c12 code pick up coil so I replaced it to no avail..but regardless of that bike to my understanding should at least be running of the well charged battery..
Plugs a wet no spark i tested the starter solenoid and ignition coils all is ok..seem to have power but not distributing it…where to start now

If the bike “cranks” , the Stator unit’s pickup sensor must tell the black box on the bike to engage sparking system (coils and caps)
I’d look at the stator pickup sensor , it might be reading 100 ohms stand still, but may read zero if crank spins , so it can flactuate if it is wanning (wanning parts trigger the black box to cut sparks off)
Check also side-stand switch (bypass it and waterproof it well)
Clutch Switch (don’t bypass, as fake neutrals can happen and you don’t want to start her and watch the bike fall down when it’s in first gear even though it says Neutral, a squeeze on the lever gaurantees your presence as you crank to start and let it idle when its safe to let go of the lever)
HT wire – could be breaking up inside ?
That is if the HT Cap itself is on a good ohm spec by its own.
Hope this helps and keep us updated

Thanks marcel I purchased another Maggie and pick up coil propped it all in …F1…C12…comes up again so I will take the tank of check out all my leads etc..I done a ohm test pick up coil 117ohms and so forth…
The bike was firing at one stage and backfiring here and there was going to calibrate the Carburetors but I had a good look at the bike and the person I purchased it of had things on the bike like handle bars with the top of the sticker hanging out which said not to be used on the road was a first for me..
So I changed the bars back to original…then the home model grips levers wouldn’t fit bought new ones new clutch lever with switch..
So this is where I am up to will send you some readings when I do the test but all seem to be up to spec so far…
Thank you for taking the time

It’s got to be a connection issue somewhere along that pick up line.

No circuit breaks in the wires to do with
- Clutch Handlerbar Lever
- Side Stand Switch (even if bypassed, the wires may have corroded?)
