Yesterday arvo was going for a cruise for about 40mins when I’m on my way home the bike completely dies: dash, lights die gone but engine sounds like it was still going but no throttle response
Slowly pulled over and tried to turn it off and on again: nothing
since I was near the shops went shopping for a bit and when I tried turning it on again nothing
Earlier in the day I gave it a quick power-wash on the fairings trying to avoid the dash area and insides, could that be the likely reason or just a coincidence?
Parked it there and it’s the following day, gonna check to see if it magically starts and possibly check out the wiring.
No weird smells from what I could tell and refueled it to full at the start of my ride. Also changed a halogen bulb that morning.
Just recently bought it.

Think I’ve troubleshooted it down to the starter relay has pooped, multimeter indicates the voltage read from it is not optimal, so ordering a replacement

Found out it was a blown fuse in the main fuse in the back next to the back seat

be sure to spare a day to clean up the harness and look for any damage that may cause kinks or shorting

Yeah found that out too late, I naively rode it out and got stranded, fuse after fuse kept blowing even after I isolated what I thought was the culprit of the problem: newly installed headlight bulb or indicators
