Description
Finally, a styling upgrade tailored specifically for the Naked Hyosung GT series! Standard gear linkages are often prone to corrosion and look dated. Our anodized gear shift rods provide more than just visual “bling”—they are CNC machined to be lighter and more resilient than the factory steel units. This results in a cleaner look and a more durable linkage that resists the pitting and rust common on standard bikes.
💎 Performance with Reliability!
The gear shift rod is a critical touchpoint between you and your machine. By upgrading to a high-grade aluminium rod, you reduce the unsprung weight of the linkage system and provide a hard-wearing surface that stands up to the elements. These are supplied in a “Swap & Go” format, designed to work perfectly with your existing footpeg and lever setup.

🔧 Install Tips
- Measure Twice: Before fitting, compare the length with your current rod. While this is a direct fit for stock bikes, aftermarket rearsets may require adjustment.
- Locking Nuts: Always ensure the locking nuts are tightened firmly against the rod. Vibration can loosen these over time.
- Alignment: If you find shifting feels stiff after installation, ensure the rod is in a straight line with the lever and peg—binding is usually caused by incorrect angles.
- Maintenance: Occasionally wipe with a clean cloth to maintain the anodized shine. Avoid aggressive acid-based wheel cleaners.
