2010 gt 250 had an electrical meltdown, replaced stator battery and regulator. note: replaced battery and reg first, bike would start but no charge, replace stator and pickup , (stator was shorted). now not starting, HOWEVER if a ohm meter is placed across the pickup sensor connector while starting it will start. @mf448kxn6 . Thanks for your response and sorry for the delay in getting back. I can’t find a Semtex Unit any where. Is it possible to replace a cdi with a different one. ?

KR Stopped making them , im also on the look out , i may get lucky next week. Worst case scenario is when the EFI bike gets converted t carby route , but alas money also talks on buying the parts etc… or possibly change all to current EFI (means newer ecu, harness , etc) – just throwing it out there to think about.

hi all . I have a 2009 gt250 which recently burnt out stator regulator and battery. Replaced all but not starting. No spark on spark plug. I suspect after checking safety switches etc that it’s the Cdi. Does anyone have one for sale . Details from unit -85-6815 GT-250. V132284N109 . Thanks.

It looks like my Cdi/efi is banjaxed. Looking for replacement for 2009 250 gt. Can anyone help.
