I bought a same model which had done just 3.6K. It is running fine, since last 3 years. I have done more than 15K in last 2 years. I had to get the new spark plug and a new rectifier, as the older one was cooked.
The bike handles well, especially on freeways and long-distance rides. It is not tiring at all. The bumps are minimal. It is a little sluggish in the city conditions at low speed. I have the same exhaust, as yours. But sometimes have a little heat buildup on a hot day at slow speeds.
